A no-deposit motorcycle rental option: what RYDI is working on

A large deposit can make a day on a motorcycle feel out of reach. We want to offer another choice.

RYDI is developing a proposed CAD $45-per-day Collision Damage Waiver option with a $0 deposit. It is not available to book today. Final terms, eligibility and operating arrangements must be ready before it can be offered.

A signed CDW is part of the plan

The planned no-deposit choice requires the renter to review and sign RYDI's CDW agreement before the rental. A signature alone does not activate an unavailable product. The final agreement will explain what the waiver covers, what it excludes and what responsibilities remain with the renter.

No deposit does not mean no liability

A deposit is money held upfront. It is not the same thing as the limit of what a renter could owe. We will not describe the proposed option as covering every kind of damage, theft or incident, or as eliminating all responsibility. Those details must be set out in the final terms.

Why show this before launch?

Shayne Chassie and Jennifer Bray are building RYDI around clearer choices for local riders and owners. Reducing the upfront burden is part of that goal. We want people to understand the proposal without mistaking it for a live insurance offer.

Our planned launch is March 2027. Availability of the CDW option will be confirmed separately. Until then, view planned benefits or ask us a question.
