RYDI launch journal
Looking for a cheaper motorcycle rental? Compare the whole trip
A low daily price is useful. A clear final price is better.
If you only need a bike for part of a day, or want to take a longer trip, a daily headline price does not tell the whole story. RYDI's calculator is designed to show the cost for the time you choose before you request a booking. Rentals remain closed while we prepare for our planned March 2027 launch.
Ten hours instead of a whole day
For an illustrative bike priced at CAD $250 per day, ten hours gives a bike charge of $104.17: $250 divided by 24, multiplied by ten. That is the bike charge only. Protection, service fees, tax and any delivery charge are added separately; a refundable deposit is shown separately from the rental total.
Five days, with an owner deal
At the same illustrative rate, five full days would be $1,250 for the bike. If that owner offers a qualifying 10% discount, the bike charge becomes $1,125. Discounts are optional, vary by owner and apply to the bike charge. The best qualifying discount applies once; discounts do not stack.
Short rentals still have other costs
The current calculator charges protection for each started 24-hour period. A ten-hour rental therefore does not reduce that charge to ten twenty-fourths. Check the full breakdown, not just the hourly bike estimate.
Compare these before choosing
- The actual pickup and return time.
- The bike charge after any applicable owner discount.
- Protection terms and the amount held as a deposit.
- Fees, tax and delivery.
- Any mileage conditions, cancellation terms and rider requirements.
Our goal is affordable choice and clear pricing. We are not claiming to be the cheapest rental provider or promising the same rate for every motorcycle. Explore the rental calculator.
